You can read the book description, author biography, and site information without an account. These pages do not ask you to submit a name, email address, or document.
Reviewer access
The reviewer access form asks for your full name, email address, organization or institution, and invitation code. If you are unaffiliated, you can enter “Independent.” Your name, email address, affiliation, and registration time are saved in the website’s private database so Christopher Capitan can keep a record of reviewers and contact you about your review. These details are not displayed publicly or shared with other reviewers. The email address is supplied by you; the form does not verify ownership of that address. To request a correction or removal, contact the author through the contact page.
The invitation code is checked on the server. A successful sign-in sets an essential cookie, tfl_reviewer_session, which keeps reviewer access available for up to seven days and contains a signed registration identifier, not your name, email address, or affiliation. The same session covers the reviewer pages and manuscript download, so the download does not ask for your details again. Reviewers with an older active session are asked only for any missing details. The cookie is marked HttpOnly, uses Secure on HTTPS, and is removed when you sign out. After signing out, clearing cookies, or the session expiring, you will need to sign in again.
Hosting and technical records
The website records successful reviewer sign-ins and requests for the manuscript PDF, linked to the reviewer’s name, email address, and affiliation. It sends private activity notifications containing these details to Christopher Capitan through Resend, the email delivery provider, which processes the information in those notifications. A download record indicates that the website served the PDF; it does not establish that the recipient saved or read it.
This website is hosted through OpenAI Sites with Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting services may process technical information such as a network address, requested page, request time, browser information, and response status to deliver and protect the website.
Analytics and advertising
The website’s application code does not include advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts. The reviewer cookie supports access to the review materials. Hosting infrastructure may apply its own security and operational controls.
